Any merchandise that is missing pieces or damaged in transit must be communicated with your sales rep within 48 hours of receipt, so that a claim can be filed with our carrier. Inform the delivery driver of the damage upon delivery and ensure it is noted as damaged on either the bill of lading or related delivery documents. Provide copies of this documentation as well as photos of the damaged shipping cartons and damaged merchandise to your sales rep. Take photos of the damaged carton before it is opened. Save all bills of lading, packing lists, shipping cartons and packing materials until this matter is resolved, as the carrier may request to see the damaged box(es) and merchandise. Velo Star is not responsible for creating a claim for any merchandise that was shipped collect.
